Fenton Caldwell was a reconnaissance pilot who was flying over France on Armistice Day, Nov. 11, 1918. His niece, Joy Panagides, shared an audio recording of his memories of the day.
The Navajo Generating Station, the west's largest coal-fired electricity plant, will be shut down at the end of next year unless a new owner can be found. Many of the 500 employees are already finding work far from the reservation.
