New Music From Panda Bear, The Walkmen

On this edition of All Songs Considered, we preview cuts from two of 2010's most anticipated albums: Panda Bear's Tomboy and The Walkmen's Lisbon. The Panda Bear record won't be out until sometime in October, but you can hear "Slow Motion" here, along with "Stranded" from The Walkmen. Lisbon is due out in September.
Also on the program: Dirty Projectors and Bjork collaborate on a new EP inspired by whales; the band Miniature Tigers looks to the horror film The Shining for inspiration in its new song "Mansion of Misery"; three women form the band Mountain Man with gorgeous three-part harmonies; the joyful pop group from Newfoundland, Hey Rosetta!, has a new album called Into Your Lungs; and the members of Cowboy Junkies return with a collection of songs inspired by an extended visit to China.
