It's time to look back and consider the music that moved us in 2020 — a year unlike any other and one we hope never has to be repeated.

While considering the weight of the pandemic, not to mention the emotional upheaval of the street demonstrations calling for social justice, Latinx artists produced music that reflected the times and helped us to cope.

There is a lot music to consider and of course I couldn't do it all myself. I was more than ably assisted by the Alt.Latino Musical Experts Team: Marisa Arbona-Ruiz, Stefanie Fernández and Catalina Maria Johnson.
