Washington's most-eligible nerd is getting hitched.
White House Budget Director and inveterate health care number-cruncher Peter Orszag and ABC News' glamorous financial correspondent Bianna Golodryga got engaged Monday over lunch, the New York Times reported. An October wedding is planned, which the Times points out would coincide with the beginning of the feds' new fiscal year. How romantic.
On ABC's Good Morning America, Golodryga said Orszag won her over by being able to "say Golodryga and spell it after our first date."
Given the couple's day jobs, we figured a few numbers are in order:
- Orszag is 41 and Golodryga is 31.
- This will be his second marriage.
- She can get dressed for a charity ball in 15 minutes flat.
