Barbara Bush Hopes Sarah Palin Stays In Alaska

Former President George W. Bush is fond of saying he has his father's eyes and his mother's mouth, meaning that in his mind at least he tends to tell it the way he sees it.
No question that his mother, Barbara Bush, sure speaks her mind.
Another example of that can be seen in the interview she and her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, conducted with CNN's Larry King. Asked what she thinks of Sarah Palin, Bush said:
I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful. I think she's very happy in Alaska. And I hope she'll stay there.
It's going to be hard to top that as far as anti-endorsements of a potential Palin presidential bid is concerned.
Also of interest was watching the first President Bush, like so many Americans, struggling with what to make of the Tea Party movement. Asked by King how he feels about the Tea Party, the President Bush the elder says:
I don't really know what it is, Larry. Some of the ideas make a lot of sense but how it fits in? I noticed in the paper today they were talking about what the Tea Party would do to get the Republicans in Congress to do something.
Well, these people have all been elected whether they're Tea Partiers or not. So I'm confused by it frankly.
