It's ScuttleButton Time!

Feb. 25 ScuttleButton

OK, OK, I agree: last week's ScuttleButton puzzle was hard. Many Democratic lawmakers hid from their state capitols in order to figure it out but failed. Even Colonel Qaddafi said he would solve it even if it meant the last drop of his blood. But he too couldn't do it.

So I've relented and came up with an easier one this week. And yes, I know, everyone will complain how simple it is. Well, as John Boehner would say, so be it.

Just don't forget how to play. Every Friday, I put forward a vertical display of buttons in this space. Your job is to simply take one word (or concept) per button, add 'em up, and, hopefully, you will arrive at a famous name or a familiar expression. (And seriously, by familiar, I mean it's something that more than one person on Earth would recognize.)

A correct answer chosen at random gets his or her name in this column. Personally, I can't imagine a greater honor.

You can't use the comments box at the bottom of the page for your answer. Send submission (plus your name and city/state — you won't win without that) to

Click here to see last week's puzzle. The solution (and ScuttleButton winner) appeared in Tuesday's Political Junkie column.

Good luck, and have a great weekend!

P.S. I usually reveal the answer — and announce the winner — in this space on Tuesdays. So you should get your answer in by then.
