Berlin Philharmonic Pays Tribute To Japan With Lutoslawski's 'Trauermusik'

March 18, 2011 • The Berlin Philharmonic, in a concert on March 16th, made a last-minute change in the program. To pay tribute to the lives lost in Japan after last week's devastating tsunami, the Philharmonic performed Polish-born Witold Lutoslawski's "Trauermusik."
