April 20, 2011 • Tim Hetherington, co-director of the documentary Restrepo, and Chris Hondros, a photographer for Getty Images, were killed in the besieged city of Misrata. The circumstances surrounding their deaths were unclear. Doctors said two other photographers were treated for shrapnel wounds.
