For U.K. Govt., It Takes 20 Pages To Twitter
Let's see if we can do this in 140 characters or less:
British bureaucrats tell departments they should be tweeting -- and give them 20 pages of tips and instructions. Wasn't that over the top?
The Guardian says it would take about 259 tweets to post the official tips on Twitter.
Among the tips, by the way, are:
-- Keep the number of tweets down to between 2 and 10 a day.
-- Space them out, leaving at least 30 minutes between each.
-- Departments shouldn't "follow" Twitter users who aren't following them. Otherwise, it might feel like Big Brother is watching.
