World's Tallest Dog Is Arizona's 'Giant George'

Monday it became official: Guiness World Records named Giant George the tallest dog on record.

According to the Great Dane's website, from his front paw to his shoulder, he is 43 inches tall.

He's four years old and weighs more than 245 pounds. He eats more 110 pounds of food every month (the website doesn't say whether it's dog food) and he has to "Bend Over to Drink Out of the Kitchen Faucet."

What the website doesn't tell us is what size plastic bag his owner has to take along for walks.

The website also tells us, knowing it will impress, that the dog "Sleeps on a Queen Size Bed...alone." Maybe his owners will be upgrading him to a king size now that he's the official world's record holder.

He's no Clifford the Big Red Dog but still impressive, no?
