PHOTO: Inside The Situation Room As The Operation Happened

The White House has just released a photograph from inside the Situation Room, as President Barack Obama and members of his National Security team receive an update from Pakistan, as the operation to capture or kill Osama bin Laden unfolded.

In the picture, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is seen with one hand over her mouth. The president looks serious in a corner, along with Vice President Joe Biden. Defense Secretary Robert Gates has his arms crossed and Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is on his feet next to the president.

The White House has released several other pictures on its Flickr page.
