G. Love returns to World Cafe, but this time without his band Special Sauce. In this episode, you'll hear the Philly-born artist describe his early days performing on the streets and discovering John Hammond Jr.

Performing acoustic versions of songs from his latest album, Love Saves The Day, G. Love discusses being inspired to pursue better things while recording in the studio with guests like Los Lobos' David Hidalgo, Citizen Cope and Lucinda Williams.
