February 13, 2015 • Gov. John Kitzhaber apologized to "all those people who gave of their faith, time, energy and resources to elect me to a fourth term last year." Secretary of State Kate Brown will be interim governor.

October 10, 2014 • In 1997, Cylvia Hayes received money to marry an Ethiopian who wanted a green card. Her fiance, Democratic Gov. John Kitzhaber, is seeking a fourth term. She says he didn't know of the marriage.
