The Greek island of Kastellorizo, shown here at sunset from the top of an ancient castle, is a little over a mile away from the Turkish shore. Known for its architecture, turquoise sea and friendship with the neighbor Turks, it's recently become a pawn in a geopolitical dispute between the Greek and Turkish governments over hydrocarbons and maritime borders.
