Hurricane Nicholas Makes Landfall In Texas. Residents Are Bracing For Possible Floods

September 13, 2021 • Nicholas strengthened into a hurricane before making landfall early Tuesday. The storm will trigger "considerable flash and urban flooding," the National Hurricane Center says.
