March 25, 2021 • Added to a separate 2018 settlement of $215 million, the agreement means the university is paying more than $1 billion to clear the lawsuits related to former campus gynecologist George Tyndall.

September 10, 2019 • "On behalf of California consumers, the Board achieved the highest level of patient protection with the surrender of [George] Tyndall's license," the California Medical Board executive director said.
