States Look To Cut Medicaid Funding

Twelve states have made, or are considering making, cuts to Medicaid eligibility or enrollment. This move comes at a time when many of those states are swamped with new applications for the state-funded health care program. President Obama's stimulus package is calling for more than $80 billion of extra funding for Medicaid.
