Pet Parrot Helps Save Choking Toddler
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
The tale now of a pet parrot named Willie whose quick thinking saved a toddler from choking. The parrot shouted Mama Baby and flapped his wings until his owner ran back just in time. Colorado's governor was among those honoring Willie as a hero.
