Vice In Pre-Pipeline Anchorage Paula Dobbyn of member station KTOO in Juneau reports on "Johnny's Girl," a play written by Kim Rich. Rich grew up in Anchorage, Alaska in the early 1970's when a booming oil industry spawned a lucrative vice industry. Her father ran gambling halls and massage parlors. Her mother was a stripper and a prostitute. Rich grew up to work as a reporter for the Anchorage Daily News and wrote a book about the experiences of her childhood.
