Cloning

NPR''s Joe Palca reports that at the beginning of 1998 many scientists doubted whether another adult animal could be cloned. Scottish scientists had cloned a sheep, named Dolly but it wasn''t certain the experiment could be repeated. But in only a year''s time there have been cloned mice, cows, and preliminary steps toward cloning a human.
