Miami Herald columnist Tananarive Due (tuh-NAN-uh-reev DOO) has a second novel of horror-fiction...reviewer Alan Cheuse says that it's a gripping story with some surprising twists and interesting characters...including an immortal academic with a gift for writing about jazz.
