Ruby Ridge The Justice Department said today it will not bring criminal charges against senior FBI officials in connection with the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident. The FBI had laid siege to a white supremacist cabin in Idaho, trying to force him to surrender to face firearms charges. FBI snipers killed the man's wife. His son and a US marshal also were killed. The Justice Department has decided not to charge officials who supervised the operation from Washington. NPR's Chitra Ragavan reports.
