Japanese Prrime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto hinted yesterday that Japan might sell their large holdings of U-S Treasury Bonds if the dollar continues to fluctuate on the world markets. In response, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell nearly 2.5 percent. Usher says that he doesn't think that Japan would make good on its threats...and the U-S stock market is already starting to climb again today.
