Japanese-American Memorial Lex Gillespie reports from Washington, DC on the plans for a new memorial honoring the Japanese-American experience during World War Two.The memorial will commemorate the ordeals of the Japanese-Americans held in internment camps. In addition, it commorates the Japanese-American veterans who served in the U.S. armed services. Ground-breaking is set to begin near the Capitol building in the Fall of 1999.
