Brothers Declare June 15 'National Man Day'
STEVE INSKEEP, host:
Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep with another proud moment from my home state. Two brothers from Indiana declared Monday to be National Man Day. They say that on Man Day participants should play football, go hunting or watch Rocky movies. And a quarter of a million people pledged to, quote, "stand up and do manly things." Tragically, there's a schedule conflict. Organizers did not realize Monday is also Sneak a Kiss Day, when sweethearts are supposed to be romantic.
It's MORNING EDITION.
