Safeco Field Seattle's new baseball stadium is a bit different from the usual ballpark - it contains more than a million dollars worth of public art. That's in part because Seattle and surrounding King County have been in the forefront of the public art movement. The region is home to "One Percent For Art" legislation, meaning that one-percent of the budget for any publicly-funded building project has to be spent on public art for the building. But that's changing. Bellamy Pailthorp, of member station KPLU, reports on the art at Safeco Field and what it was like to create it for a ballpark.
