Underwater Cities They're calling it the most exciting find in the history of marine archeology: evidence of two intact underwater cities off the coast of Alexandria, Egypt. Menouthis and Herakleion were well-known in the decades before Alexander the Great but their disappearance was never explained. This weekend an underwater archeology team announced the discovery of temples, columns, foundation stones and figures that researchers believe are the two cities. They are thought to have sunk after an earthquake. Jacki speaks to diver Eric Smith, aboard the Princess Duda, a research ship.
