Pearl Harbor The 60th anniversary of the Japanese attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, HI., was marked today in ceremonies at the site of the bombing and by President Bush on an aircraft carrier in Norfolk, VA. Mr. Bush cited the heroism of sailors on Dec. 7, 1941, in helping wounded shipmates. At Pearl Harbor today, "echo Taps" was played by the Pacific Fleet band.
