Happy Mac Devoted MacIntosh users have lost their beloved screen image of an old Mac with a smiling face that greeted them when starting up from, well, the start up of the Mac. Apple says "As with everything in Mac OS X Jaguar, the start-up experience has been vastly improved to be fast, simple, and gorgeous. " But users are saddened. We talk to Jonathan Duke of the Boston Mac Users Group about this. He says "its the end of an era."
