Hurricane Lili Update Hurricane Lili roared over Louisiana all day, but with much less force than predicted. The storm weakened overnight from Category 4 to Category 2 as winds fell from 140 to 100 miles an hour. As it moves inland it's weakening further, and has been downgraded to a tropical storm.
