L. Cedeño

L. Cedeño is an eclectic multi-instrumentalist living in Los Angeles. His influences of indie, surf, psychedelic, ambient and jazz music combine to form what he calls "postmodern chic in an era obsessed with junk culture."

The Puerto Rican born musician's approach to songwriting is to "let the process serve the song — heavy reverb here, adventurous lo-fi there, haunting and silky in between."

His album Bliss Wishes, is a loose narrative about a flight from France back to America, exploring the excitement and anxiety inherent in air travel. Cedeño evokes some classic European acts like the Smiths, the Cure, and, especially on "L'Invitation Au Voyage," French duo Air. The soothing track suggests tranquility at 30,000 feet, complete with French stewardess whispering in your ear.
