WERTHEIMER: Officials awarded the project to a consortium of South Korean companies. They beat out bids from France and the U.S. The American consortium included General Electric. The project is worth about $20 billion, making it one of the biggest energy deals this year and the first international deal for South Korea's nuclear industry.
