A town in eastern Germany has come up with a creative fix to its pothole problem. For $68, workers in Niederzimmern will fill one its potholes and put a plaque with your name on it near the patch.

A: Adopt a pothole.

Severe winter weather has left many roadways covered in potholes in the United States and in Europe. And one town in Eastern Germany has come up with a creative fix. For the equivalent of $68, that town will pave one of its potholes and even put up a plaque - with your name on it - near the patch. The mayor says the idea aims not only to amuse and fix some potholes, but also create a sense of ownership for the potholes.
