New Zealand Woman Sells Ghosts At Auction
STEVE INSKEEP, host:
And today's last word in business is about selling souls.
The New Zealand Herald newspaper has a story today about a woman in the city of Christ Church who found two ghosts in her house. She says one was the spirit of a man who lived there in the 1920s, and the other was an obstreperous little girl. The homeowner captured the two ghosts in glass vials, she says, subduing them with holy water. And then she put them up for auction online. Last night, the ghosts sold for about $2,000. The seller says she's donating the money to charity, after deducting her exorcists' fee.
