You can understand why a crook would want to steal parrots. They can retail for more than $1,000 each. And just this week, the Parrots of the World shop on Long Island discovered 45 of its parrots missing. The purloined parrots were spirited away in their cages through a window. But you have to wonder what the thief was thinking. With 45 parrots, it's only a matter of time before one of them talks. It's MORNING EDITION.
