FCC Eases Media Ownership Rules NPR's Rick Karr reports that the FCC has voted 3 to 2 to relax limits on media ownership. In large markets, a single company will now be allowed to own both a broadcast station and a newspaper in the same city. In some markets, one company will now be able to own up to three local television stations.
