Japanese carmaker Toyota said Tuesday it has been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury in New York that wants documents related to problems in the steering mechanism of some Toyota cars. Toyota said the subpoena didn't specify which models were under investigation.

Meanwhile, Toyota's looking at another bump in the road. The Japanese carmaker said today that it's has been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury in New York. The jury wants documents related to problems with the steering mechanism of some Toyota cars. It didn't specify which models.

Toyota was also subpoenaed earlier this year - that time, in relation to acceleration and breaking problems.
