Reflections On Mayor Daley's Tenure
On Tuesday, Chicago mayor Richard Daley announced that he won't seek re-election after more than two decades as mayor. The news was a shock to many Chicagoans. We'll hear what some residents of the Second City think of Daley's legacy.

Chicagoans today are trying to imagine life without Mayor Richard M. Daley in office. Thats after he shocked them yesterday with the news that he would not seek another term. Hes been in office more than 20 years. In a moment well hear from a longtime Chicago political watcher about Daleys legacy.
First, some opinions from the streets of Chicago.

Ms. CK HEMMONS: Hi, my name is CK Hemmons(ph). I think that Mayor Daleys legacy will be beautifying the city of Chicago because I think that he really did put forth a great effort and I have nothing bad to say about Mayor Daley.
Ms. ANNE NEMSHAW: My name is Anne Nemshaw(ph). The one thing Ill always remember about Mayor Daleys legacy is the night he Meigs Field and we went to sleep with an airport and we woke up without one.
Mr. RICHARD WOLF: My name is Richard Wolf(ph). I think Mayor Daleys legacy will be holding the city together through tough times. Whether he will leave in place a structure that continues some stability in this city remains to be seen.
