Ugandan President's Campaign Rap Set To Music
Uganda's 65-year-old President Yoweri Museveni, who's been in power for more than two decades, let loose with some rhymes during a campaign rally last month. Now a producer has put it to music.

Now the president of Uganda may not be royalty, but he has become the next best thing: a rap star.

President YOWERI MUSEVENI (Uganda): (Singing in foreign language)
INSKEEP: That's the 65-year-old President Yoweri Museveni, who let loose with some rhymes during a campaign rally for young supporters last month. A producer put the rhymes to music. Here are some of the lyrics. I'm quoting here. "Harvesters, give me millet that I gave to a hen, which gave me an egg that I gave to children, who gave me a monkey that I gave to the king, who gave me a cow that I used to marry my wife." The lyrics of a president who's been in power for more than two decades. Let's listen.
