Document Sheds Light on Fundamentalist Church
A document from the Utah and Arizona attorneys general point out some of the beliefs taught by Warren Jeffs' Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The document was obtained by the online magazine Slate.
According to the document, the young are typically home schooled, outside views from television and radio are generally not allowed because they are "worldly" and the church disputes the moon landing, arguing it was fabricated by the government in order to hide tax money.
The document further reveals that many church members also deny the Holocaust, believe blacks are of an inferior race and the descendants of Cain — and therefore cursed by God.
