Moore Is Removed From Office
In a unanimous decision, Alabama's Court of the Judiciary removes Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore from his job. Moore defied a court order to remove a monument to the Ten Commandments from the Alabama Judicial Building. The panel ruled that he willfully violated canons of judicial ethics.
