Kitchen Catalog Deluged with Christmas Buyers

At Stonewall Kitchens in southern Maine, operators are standing by — and will be doing so until Christmas Eve — helping last minute shoppers order gifts from their catalog. The $30 million company ships everything from jams and scones to festive red foods all over the country — and their telephone operators are patient and generous with the harried customers.
