1. The Danilo Perez Trio and Big Band premiere his "Panama Suite" in Boston. Presented by WGBH Radio and the Berklee College of Music, with emcee Eric Jackson.

2. Patti Austin sings "A Gershwin New Year's Eve" at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

3. Jazz and Brazil with Trio da Paz (Romero Lubambo, Nilson Matta, Duduka da Fonseca) and pianist Kenny Barron from the Jazz Standard in New York. With emcee Michael Bourne.

4. Nachito Herrera and the Steele Family Singers present a tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire at the Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant in Minneapolis. Presented with KBEM.
