Supreme Court Hears 'Pledge' Case

The Supreme Court hears arguments on whether the Pledge of Allegiance, as recited in classrooms, should contain the phrase "under God." An appeals court has ruled that including the words constitutes an unconstitutional establishment of religion by the government. The lawsuit was filed by a California atheist whose daughter attends public schools. NPR's Nina Totenberg reports.
