Hear the Story of Romeo, the Lonely Wolf of Juneau.Snow cyclist Jill Homer is training to bike 350 miles in February's human-powered Iditarod. Along the way, she's meeting some interesting critters.
Among the most impressive is a wolf named Romeo, a legendary loner of Juneau, Alaska. Romeo lives near a lake outside of town, and he likes to approach people and their dogs. He seems friendly — mostly.
Last winter, Romeo grabbed a beagle, a pug and a Pomeranian. He dropped the beagle and, as you can see in this slideshow, the pug. The Pomeranian is still missing.
