California Presses for Fuel-Efficient Tires

Conventional wisdom says people who buy new tires should look at three things: cost, safety and durability. California would like to add fuel efficiency to the list. There's a push on to require more fuel-efficient tires, which proponents say could save drivers more than $500 million annually.
