Hear Fred Child's Conversation with Levin, and an Excerpt of the Premiere Performance of Wyner's 'Chiavi in Mano'
Yehudi Wyner, 76, has won the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for music for his piano concerto "Chiavi in Mano." The Boston Symphony commissioned the work, which premiered in February 2005, with pianist Robert Levin. Fred Child talks with Levin about the concerto and its composer. And we hear a short sample of that debut performance from Boston's Symphony Hall.
