In recent days we've lost two men who had a serious impact on the cartoon biz. Joseph Barbera helped create TV's first animated comedy shows, from The Flintstones to Yogi Bear. And the characters brought to life by writer Chris Hayword included Rocky, Bullwinkle and Dudley Do-Right.
