Robertson Predicts Mass Killing in the Coming Year
STEVE INSKEEP, host:
In this country, one of the best known religious broadcasters is predicting mayhem in 2007. The Reverend Pat Robertson says God told him that terrorist attacks would result in mass killing with possibly millions of people affected. Robertson says God did not specify a nuclear attack, but he said I do believe it will be something like that.
Robertson has been making some predictions for some time on his program “The 700 Club.” In 2004, he predicted that President Bush would win reelection. In 2006, he predicted that storms and possibly a tsunami would strike the United States, which did not quite happen.
On the program yesterday he said, I have a relatively good track record, though, he added, sometimes I miss.
