Call Me Peyton, If You Can Bear It

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.
A man named Scott Wiese wanted to prove his confidence in the Chicago Bears. He said if the Bears lost the Super Bowl, he would change his name to Peyton Manning. That's the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts, who did beat the Bears. It was hard for Mr. Wiese to take back the promise, since he made it in writing in front of 200 people. A judge must approve the change, but it is possible that Peyton Manning will root for the Bears next fall.
